Sidney is an Account Executive for Bumblebee Data. She previously worked in business development for an association management system and understands the ins and outs of an association’s core database. Sidney is originally from Springfield, VA but currently resides in Dallas, TX. She is a Radford University graduate and former Division 1 collegiate golfer who has a naturally competitive edge to her and seeks new challenges – data clean up now being one of them.
Data conversion is consistently one of the most complex and high-risk phases of any AMS implementation, involving extraction, cleansing, mapping, and validation before a single record ever touches the new system. In this session, two leading voices in association data services pull back the curtain on what actually happens during a migration, the mistakes that derail timelines and budgets, and how association teams can prepare their organization’s data before, during, and after a system switch.
